Fellatio, Blowjob: 14 Penis’ Owners Survey, Health and Other Aspects of Oral Sex

Written by Tadese Faforiji

What is Oral Sex?

Oral sex on a woman (the vagina, vulva and clitoris) is called cunnilingus, and oral sex on a man (the penis) is called fellatio. If oral sex involves the anus, it is called anilingus (1). Fellatio (Blowjob, BJ, givinghead, or suckingoff) is an act of stimulating one’s penis with the mouth. Recently all these terms are usually used for one another, and recent slang ‘blow job’ prevailing over others.

Oral sex is one of the trending topics that are open to debate among scholars, medical personalities, as well as other people who have diverse opinions on this most-organism-driven sex format ever initiated, according to a majority of men and women who share their views.

Before one performs fellatio or become fellated, there are some facts that are attached to this act which are to be known to the participants. Before examining the facts about oral sex, it is important to show the views of the people towards this.

Peoples’ Perspective on Oral Sex

The truth is that no one has ever provided the exact description of the feelings one derives from oral sex, especially fellatio for men. Several articles online examining feelings derived from fellatio end up with unexplained exclamations!

Some people find the experience awkward, and some even argue that they can’t orgasm from a blowjob because the pleasure involved is not always effective

In the survey made by Menshealth, 14 penis owners describe the sugary and fantastic engagements of oral sex with many astonishing, lovely, and crazy sentences! However, there are few claims against it.

From Menshealth Blog (2)

“A well-done BJ is an art, an experience, a trip. It takes you to another galaxy. The feeling, oh the feeling, try until you see stars.” — Álvaro, 30

“Most blowjobs aren’t very good if I’m totally honest. People struggle with not scraping their teeth, which is very painful.” — Michael, 40

Health and Other Aspects of Oral Sex

There are many debates on oral sex as stated earlier, ranging from religious perspectives on oral sex to personal views. These are the health and other aspects of oral sex.

  • If one chooses to have oral sex, such person should avoid licking or sucking the impure fluids. This is to protect oneself against sexually transmitted infections/ diseases.
  • Usually, only one of the participants enjoys oral sex the most. For instance, in fellatio, it may become tiring for the blower if all things seem like pushing up, blowing banana fruit and another person feeling the heavenly climax of the sex
  • If your partner has one of STIs, sores, cuts, ulcers, blisters, warts or rashes around the genitals or mouth, including throat infection, unhealed piercings in the genitals or mouth, then oral sex should be avoided.
  • Licking and sucking the vagina are very pleasurable for most females, therefore, taking your wife to orgasm in normal sexual intercourse may be difficult later when she is used to the oral sex which establish incompatible pleasures for her.
