1913: Mohandas Gandhi Arrested in Natal

Because of the protest led by Mohandas Gandhi for the enacted immigration laws which limited the freedom of movement of Asians, he was arrested. There was an outbreak of riot in Natal after his arrest. Two people were killed in the course.
