“Is My School Pulling Out of the ASUU Strike” What You Have to Know About Your School

ASUU strike teaches you one thing: “You may be where you are right now after graduating from your school” (Tadese Faforiji)

The ongoing strike by the university lecturers has lasted for over six months now. Meaning that students have been at home for 200 days doing nothing literally, hoping to resume back to school one day.

ASUU strike lasted for 9 months in 2020 but the waves of Covid-19 and #EndSARS protest overwhelmed everything, so students did not really feel the heat.

“THE Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has finally suspended its strike. The union announced the suspension of the 9-month old industrial action at a press conference held Wednesday morning in Abuja. ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, who led other National Executive Committee of the union to the event where he made the announcement, explained that the suspension takes effect from today, Wednesday 23, 2020.”

As for state university students, they hope their schools pull out of the ongoing strike as done by many schools.

Is my school pulling out of the ‘ASUU Struggle’? This moment has to be the very worst of everything in the history of studentship in Nigeria. Everything that happens presently in the country seems to be a collection to be acted on stage.

However, nobody (both governmental and non-governmental) has been able to assure students’ resumption very soon. And for the students’ president, everything ‘cracks’.

It is very true that students can use this time to learn a lot of things as said by many social scholars that make pleasing analyses on social media platforms. The reality will remain the same. Students in one way or the other have connections to their schools.

The worst thing you, as a student, can do to yourself is to be emotionally engaged in the ASUU strike updates. Few students committed suicide because of this same mess. The strike will soon be over, as they say.

If the strike is called off today and students are to resume back to their campuses, what value have you added to yourself in the six months? “Is My School Pulling Out of the ASUU Strike” is the one and only song of many students. If you are among them, that means you are gradually getting attached to this strike with your emotions.

Learn blogging, affiliate marketing, programming, NFTs, and crypto, establish small-scale businesses and put them up there for marketing, and reach tens of thousands of people that need your services or products. And let’s keep the struggle alive to see students back on campus very soon!

To balance up your daily activities, read good books, write more and engage in reasonable debates. Time does not go; time will be there forever, but we won’t. That is why you have to create the system you want to work for you. It’s my daily update. Thank you for reading my post.
