About the Fellowship
British Academy International Fellowships program helps researchers build independent academic careers by offering the opportunity to work at a UK institution for two years. It aims to create a globally connected and mobile research and innovation network.
Applicants must collaborate with a UK host institution to develop their application. The Global Development Institute (GDI) at the University of Manchester welcomes researchers from the global South and offers mentorship and supervision throughout the fellowship.
Why Join GDI?
GDI is committed to conducting high-quality interdisciplinary research that advances development theory and promotes social justice worldwide. By working closely with researchers from the global South, GDI fosters impactful research collaborations, making this fellowship an excellent opportunity for emerging scholars.
Application Process
Interested candidates should contact Odile Masiá, GDI Research Manager, by Friday, February 14, 2025, to discuss their application and potential sponsorship.
