Gadjah Mada International Fellowship: UGM invites ambitious international students to seize the opportunity offered by the Gadjah Mada International Fellowship (GMIF) 2024, aimed at nurturing intellectual growth and empowering future leaders and innovators from the ASEAN region (excluding Indonesia) and Global South Countries.

The prestigious scholarship provides 15 full-time Master’s degree fellowships covering tuition fees for four semesters, living expenses, international airfare, health insurance, electronic Visa and Limited Stay Permit (ITAS), and a thesis research incentive.

Candidates under 30 with Bachelor’s degrees in various fields such as Engineering, Science, Medicine/Health, Geography, Agriculture, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, and Humanities are encouraged to apply.

A strong academic record and proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS scores required) are essential.

Prospective applicants must register online at the UGM admission system and submit necessary documents including academic transcripts, a CV, proof of English proficiency, a personal statement, and two academic references.

The application period is from March 1 to March 31, 2024, with selection taking place in April and final results announced on April 30, 2024.

Successful candidates will commence their journey to Yogyakarta in August 2024, starting with an Indonesian Language Course to enhance linguistic skills and immerse in Indonesian culture.
