International Postgraduate Scholarship:The University of the Arts London is well known for helping creative minds grow and providing amazing learning experiences. In 2024, UAL is giving a great chance to international postgraduate students with its International Postgraduate £50,000 Scholarship.
This scholarship is meant to help students from countries with low incomes who dream of studying their creative passions in one of the most exciting cultural places in the world.
Scholarship Details The UAL International Postgraduate £50,000 Scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation at one of UAL’s halls of residence, and can help with living costs too.
Every year, up to 4 talented students get chosen for this special award, making it one of the biggest scholarships available at UAL.
Eligibility Criteria: International Postgraduate Scholarship
- Academic Offer: You must have an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at UAL starting in the 2024/25 academic year. This includes courses like Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, and MSc.
- Residency: You should usually live in one of the listed low-income economy countries. These countries cover a wide range, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe.
- Income Requirement: Your household’s yearly income should be £25,000 or less when you apply. You’ll need proof to show this.
- Personal Statement: You have to write a personal statement explaining how the scholarship would help you with your studies, your plans for the future, and how you deal with challenges in your home country.
- No Prior UK Postgraduate Degree: If you already have a postgraduate degree from the UK or the same level of qualification from another country, you can’t apply.
Application Process: International Postgraduate Scholarship
- Get an Offer: First, apply for and get an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at UAL.
- Check Eligibility: Make sure you’re from one of the countries listed and meet all the other requirements.
- Prepare Documents: Get all your academic records, proof of income, personal statement, and any other papers you need.
- Apply for the Scholarship: Once you have your offer, apply for the UAL scholarship through the ‘my finance and funding’ section on your UAL applicant portal. The applications open in February 2024.
