Application Qualification Requirements
Nationality: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports from Belt and Road Initiative countries. Refer to the Belt and Road Initiative Countries list for eligibility.
Educational Background and Age Limit:
- Bachelor’s Degree Applicants: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be under 25 years old.
- Master’s Degree Applicants: Should possess an undergraduate degree equivalent to a bachelor’s from a Chinese university and be no older than 35.
- Doctoral Degree Applicants: Must hold a master’s degree equivalent to a Chinese master’s and be under 40 years old.
Language Requirements For Jinan University Scholarships
- For Chinese-taught programs: Minimum HSK Level 4 score of 180.
- For English-taught programs: IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 90.
Scholarship Exclusivity:
Applicants should not hold any other types of Chinese Government Scholarships simultaneously.

Application Process For Jinan University Scholarships
