Rotary Peace Fellowships: Annually, the Rotary Peace Fellowship offers fully-funded academic opportunities to up to 100 individuals worldwide. These fellowships cover tuition, fees, room and board, transportation, and internship expenses.
The program aims to train professionals in peacebuilding, with graduates often assuming leadership roles in various sectors.
Types of fellowships available:
- Master’s Degree: This option provides funding for master’s degree programs at prestigious universities in fields related to peace and conflict prevention. Programs typically last 15 to 24 months and include a practical internship component.
- Professional Development Certificate: Designed for experienced professionals in peace-related fields, this three-month program at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand enhances skills in conflict prevention and resolution.
Eligibility criteria include proficiency in English, a strong commitment to peacebuilding, leadership skills, and relevant work or volunteer experience. Doctoral study is not covered, and certain individuals, such as active Rotary members and their relatives, are ineligible.
