TikToker fakes his own death: This incident could be considered one of the cruellest and most surreal practical jokes ever witnessed.
TikToker David Baerten decided to pretend that he had died because he was tired of being treated poorly by his family and friends. Surprisingly, his wife and children were also involved in the prank.
It all started when Baerten’s children posted a heartfelt message online, saying goodbye to their father and claiming that he had passed away tragically. The news quickly spread to other family members and friends, generating a wave of sympathy and sorrow.
In response to the “tragic” news, the family organized a funeral, which was attended by many relatives and friends. Everyone was dressed in black, mourning the loss, when suddenly a helicopter arrived at the scene and landed nearby.
To everyone’s shock and confusion, Baerten emerged from the helicopter accompanied by a camera crew. He revealed that it was all a prank and raised a toast, welcoming everyone to his “funeral.”
Some family members couldn’t believe their eyes and rushed to embrace Baerten, while others were completely bewildered and struggled to comprehend what was happening.
Baerten explained that he felt hurt by his family’s actions, as he was often left out and not appreciated. He wanted to teach them a valuable lesson by showing that it’s important to cherish relationships and not wait until it’s too late.
Interestingly, the prank seems to have had the desired effect, as Baerten shared that his family members have been reaching out to him more frequently since the incident.
